Mazel Tov

Original, hand-drawn cartoon by Peter Steiner published in the New Yorker on June 17, 2002.  Peter has been a mainstay of the New Yorker since 1979, and for good reason. 

Here, he depicts an awkward moment among a gang of skinheads.

India ink and watercolor wash on 9" x 11" Fabriano cold press watercolor paper.  New Yorker production sticker on the reverse side along with cartoon caption in the artist's hand.  Excellent condition.
