John O' Brien
John was born in Philadelphia 1953, graduated from Philadelphia College of Art 1975. He currently lives in Delran, New Jersey. He has had a long career as a cartoonist for many magazines most notably The New Yorker where he created several hundred cartoons and 17 covers. His cartoons have also been featured in New York Times, Omni, Penthouse, Fast Company, and Esquire among others. He has also published Editorial illustrations for a variety of other publications such as Wall Street Journal, Worth, and Global Finance. John has illustrated over 100 children's books, 8 of which he also wrote, and contributed to many collections, anthologies, and text books, and did covers and interior Illustrations for Highlights Magazine, and contributed to Cricket Magazine.
