Pat Byrnes
Pat Byrnes has been a cartoonist for The New Yorker since 1998 and is both a Best Gag Cartoons winner and Best Advertising Illustration winner in the National Cartoonist Society’s Reuben Awards. He is a founder of The Drawing Board, a B2B consultancy for management training, team building, and DEI with methods rooted in the art and science of cartoon thinking. His syndicated editorial cartoons appear in the Washington Post, The Week, and Politico. He is also a patented inventor, illustrator, and author. Previous careers include voice actor, ad copywriter, and aerospace engineer.
