Death dealers try to have some fun with their work in this original hand-drawn cartoon by Matt Diffee.  Matt received the 2013 Silver Reuben Award for “best single panel cartoonist of the year” from the National Cartoonists Society and is Chairman of the L.A. Chapter of the National Cartoonists Society.  In addition to the New Yorker, Matt's work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post and on CNN, PBS, ABC, CBS and NPR’s Fresh Air, and All Things Considered.

This piece was published in the New Yorker Magazine on November 1, 2009. 

Pencil on 11" x 14" smooth Bristol board.  (Image measures approximately 10.12" x 13.25").  New Yorker production sticker on reverse side.  Excellent condition.

This piece is sold with a protective sheet of tracing paper to prevent smudging.  We recommend that it not be removed until framing.
