Brain Mom

Once again, Benjamin Schwartz draws on his direct experience as a medical doctor and lecturer at Columbia University to create wonderful cartoon about embarrassing moments that seem to stay with us forever.  This hand-drawn cartoon was published in the New Yorker on January 23, 2022 with the caption "And this is the part that will never let you forget the time you called your third-grade teacher 'Mom'."   

Pencil and ink with ink wash on 8.5" x 11" Strathmore watercolor paper.  We love the clean style and sharp contrasts of this piece -- both hallmarks of Dr. Schwartz.  Excellent Condition.
