Bank Teller on Fire

Ed Steed's humor is oftentimes referred to as "dark", a label he claims to have been assigned to him only once he came to live in the United States.  Here's a worthy example of Ed's perspective on bank lines:  an original published in the New Yorker on February 14, 2022.  This piece also appears in Ed's book of cartoons, "Forces of Nature," published in 2024.
