Joyful and Triumphant

Here, cartoonist Mort Gerberg borrows from the lyrics of the Christmas Carol "Come, all ye faithful" to create a naughty gag cartoon for Playboy.  This original, hand-painted piece was published in the magazine's 50th anniversary issue, January 2004.

Ink, watercolor, and whiteout on 11" x 14" heavy card stock. The piece is taped to a cardboard backer with a protective paper cover.  Playboy copyright stamps appear in upper corners.  Minor ripple to the paper from paint application.  Excellent condition.
