Adventures of God (Forces of Nature Version)

Original, hand-drawn cartoon by Ed Steed and one of his few multi-panel sequential pieces. 

This particular piece was Ed's second version of the cartoon.  An earlier version was purchased by the New Yorker for publication.  Shortly thereafter, Ed took to tinkering with the piece a bit, and submitted a second version to the New Yorker as an alternate.  The magazine chose Ed's original version (offered separately by Curated Cartoons), and published it in its September 2, 2024 issue.  The second variation of it, featured here, was published in Ed's book of cartoons, "Forces of Nature," in October 2024.

Ink on 8" x 10.5" watercolor paper.  A few stray ink marks are visible along the top of the paper, outside the boundaries of the cartoon.  This version also contains some corrective white-out.  Excellent condition.
