Adventures of God (New Yorker Version)

Original, hand-drawn cartoon by Ed Steed and one of his few multi-panel sequential pieces. 

This particular piece was Ed's first version of the cartoon, which was purchased by the New Yorker for publication.  Shortly thereafter, Ed took to tinkering with the piece a bit, and submitted a second version to the New Yorker as an alternate.  The magazine chose Ed's original version, featured here, which was published in its September 2, 2024 issue.  (The second variation of it, offered separately by Curated Cartoons, appears in Ed's book of cartoons, "Forces of Nature", published in October 2024).

Ink on 6" x 14" watercolor paper.  Excellent condition.
