The Summer People are Coming!

Excitement on the farm at summertime in this charming, original hand-drawn cartoon by Mort Gerberg.  This piece was published in the New Yorker on June 8, 1998.

Ink, ink wash, and white out on 11" x 14" heavy card stock.  The pig was redrawn, cut out, and pasted onto the original.  The entire piece is taped to a protective paper cover with a tear-sheet from the magazine.  New Yorker production sticker on the reverse side.  Excellent condition.
