Original hand-drawn cartoon by Matt Diffee published in the New Yorker on September 30, 2007. Matt bears the unique distinction of having been identified by none other than Steve Martin as one of the funniest people in the world. It's also a little-known fact that he's served as a mentor for many an up-and-coming New Yorker cartoonist.
Pencil on 11" x 14" smooth Bristol board. (Image measures approximately 8.5" x 9"). Minor paper indentation and discoloration mark at bottom right of the paper, neither of which interfere with the image. New Yorker production sticker on reverse side. Overall, excellent condition.
This piece is sold with a protective sheet of tracing paper to prevent smudging. We recommend that it not be removed until framing.
