Criticisms of Sunsets

Beautiful original watercolor piece by Pulitzer Prize winning artist Barry Blitt.  This piece is an alternate unpublished version of a cartoon that appeared in the New Yorker's October 17, 2019 electronic issue under Barry Blitt's running column "Blitt's Kvetchbook".

 Barry Blitt is primarily known as a New Yorker cover artist, having contributed more than a hundred covers to the magazine since 1992.  In 2020, he won the Pulitzer Prize for editorial cartooning for work that included several covers for the magazine, as well as an array of cartoons that appeared in its pages and on its website.

This piece was created with pen, ink, and watercolor paint on 9.5" x 11.5" cold-press watercolor paper.  Pristine condition and a steal at the listed price.
