Expired Meters

The caption on this hand-drawn cartoon by Bernard Schoenbaum reads "Psst. Two expired meters and a double-park at Thirty-fourth and Third."  Yikes, a literal stool pigeon!

This cartoon was published in the New Yorker on December 21, 1987. 

Marker, ink, and ink wash on 8.5" x 11" Bond paper.  Production marks on the face of the paper designate cropping of the final published piece.  Excellent condition.
